Pull up a chair and get comfortable, it was an amazing evening!
Then Schorsch and the gang made a presentation. They handed out pieces of paper and pens to all of the guests. Then everyone had to write down words of encouragement or best wishes. (The guests had all night to complete this task.)
By the way (and I think I've mentioned this elsewhere), Schorsch sells
Snow Saws used in cutting snow -- ice fishing, making igloos, that sort of thing. Visit his site
here.
All of these notes were to be placed inside of this box. Schorsch put other momentos in there such as the C&J Post newspaper and a wine bottle.
He locked the box. And after seven years he'd open it on our anniversary. Very cool!
Thanks to Schorsch, Barbi, Dani, Bidu, Hannas, Miriam, Stefu, Ka, Chris, Cona, Samuel!
Well, they didn't stop there. They sang a selection of college songs. (They went to teachers training school with Claudia.) They sounded like the Von Trapp family: singing in harmony which was really impressive.
Well, they didn't stop there either. They marched in river raft filled with inflatable toys: balls, seals, crabs. I'm always borrowing their rafts when I down the river Aare, so now we finally have our own!
Wow! Great presentation!
Lolli, Elisabeth, Susi & Co. decided that you didn't need formal ballet training to put on a good show.
Lolli, taking charge here, was the Master of Ceremonies and she tirelessly worked all night to keep entertainment moving along. Without going into all of her late-night adventures, she was the glue that held the entire week together. Thank you Lolli!
Danny, my best man, gave a nice toast. Fortunately, he didn't reveal any of my secrets.
