Friday: Our civil wedding took place at Schlosswil.
In Switzerland, like many European countries, the Church cannot legally marry a couple. So we have to go to the County Clerk to get married. Of course they're closed on the weekend, so we find ourselves heading to Schlosswil on Friday afternoon.
Many of us meet in front of the Sternen Hotel in Worb (where most of the out-of-towners are staying). Here's Mrs. Conroy from Ireland/USA.
Claudia's mother's work friend owns this beautiful 1957 Mercedes Benz. He was kind enough to let us borrow it for the weekend.
Here's Schorsch driving the Benz. The owner of the car had to instruct Schorch on how to operate the vehicle. For example, he had to start the car under the hood.
Schlosswil is the location of the county offices. It's situation on a bluff overlooking the countryside.
Aunt Carmel, Dad, and Mom.
Here's Uncle Sen, Auntie Clarice, and the Best Man, Danny.
