James Wong > Lolly Simon and Jenny Simon. Lolly was our Master of Ceremonies in addition to binding the entire week together.
James Wong > No, I really wasn't nervous. I just wanted to soak in the moment. I could hear the tremendous cathedral bells ringing out the start of the ceremony and I wanted to savor every moment.
James Wong > She sang Gifts of Bread and wine. It was truly one of the highlights of my entire journey. Thank you Claire!
James Wong > We also had a Catholic priest who participated. Furthermore he spoke in English for us Americans.
James Wong > After the readings, my Irish cousin Claire sang perched up above us next to the smaller organ.
James Wong > It was an interesting story how my Irish cousin Catherine read the Gospel at the wedding. But too long to put here. I'm glad she did though.
James Wong > Elisabeth also read during the ceremony. It was a traditional Swiss poem. Ted, Claudia's father, made the effort to translate it (even making it rhyme in English). They say that the English version is better than the original.
